Calendar

Each year, the Alberni Valley Lions Club participates in the Canada Day Parade.  At about 8:00 am the Canada Day cake is picked up by several members of the Lions Club and transported by truck to the Glenwood Centre.  Lions gather at the corner of 11th Avenue North and Bute Street between 9:00 and 9:30 am with the parade beginning at 10:00 am.  Parade participants gather at the Glenwood Centre following the parade for cake and other entertainment.
